Cecilia Cainzos
Counselor
Throughout my career, I have integrated various counseling approaches, enriching my
practice and influencing my unique approach to patient sessions. My primary goal is to
empower individuals to articulate their emotions and connect with their experiences,
enabling them to lead fuller lives through conscious decision-making.
About Me
My journey in the field of psychology began in Argentina, where I completed my
bachelor's degree in psychology. Upon my arrival, I validated my title through the
Joseph Silny agency, earning recognition as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Education in the US. This equivalence opened doors for me to work in various
agencies, including Dacco (now known as Cove), where I dedicated over 14 years of
service across four distinct departments: Drug Court; Family Intervention Services;
HIV/AIDS services and Womens Residential.

In the private sector, at C2E Coaching and Counseling, where I worked from 2015 to
2023, I specialized in individual and group counseling, focusing on clients dealing with
DUIs.

In 2019, I achieved certification as a Yoga Teacher, completing a 200-hour YTT at The
Lotus Pond. This additional skillset allows me to incorporate philosophical concepts,
breathing techniques, and meditation into my sessions, offering effective relief to
patients dealing with anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

My journey in Argentina was equally significant. My internship at Children's Hospital
Ricardo Gutierrez spanned four years, where I worked with children and adolescents
facing learning disabilities. I also dedicated several years to the education of children
with Down syndrome at a specialized school. Additionally, I collaborated with a team of professionals at Aletheia, a private psychiatric clinic at the children team, while
attending clients in my private practice.

Becoming a certified psychodramatist, lead me to conduct psycho drama workshops at
an Addiction Rehabilitation Center in Argentina. This experience ignited my passion for
aiding individuals in the challenging journey of addiction recovery.
